Pi Day! 3/14

My inner nerd and inner baker tend to collaborate to celebrate Pi/Pie day. For the record, when Mr. Dude turned 31.4 he did get a pie. Not 10.

I’m trying to figure out what’s on the menu here, pie-wise, but may I tempt you?

Chocolate Banana Mousse Pie (GF, CF, EF, SF, sugar optional and vegan)

Chocolate Raspberry Pie (GF, CF, EF, SF, sugar free and vegan)

Pecan Pie (GF, SF)ooey

Ooey Gooey Chocolate Chip Pie (GF, CF, EF, SF, sugar free, vegan)

Sweet Potato Pie (GF, CF, EF, SF, sugar free and vegan)

About Cheryl Harris

Life played a funny trick on me. I've studied nutrition for years, and much to my surprise, found out that I could manage many of my health issues via diet. I've been GF for years, and I've got a bunch of allergies and sensitivities. But it definitely doesn't keep me from cooking, baking and enjoying my food. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. So many great pies to choose from! As much as I love sweet potatoes, I think I’ll make the chocolate-banana mousse!

  2. I don’t know … at first, I thought I agreed with Kate because I’ve always eyed that chocolate banana mousse pie (even featuring it on All Gluten-Free Desserts, of course!), but it’s a hard call between that and the Ooey Gooey Chocolate Chip Pie for me. 😉 But you really can’t go wrong with any one of these pies. You gotta love Pi Day!! 🙂

  3. Hi Kate!
Let me know how it goes. I LOVE that pi(e)!

Good call! I ended up making the Ooey Gooey Pie this week.
