I didn&#039;t have any problem with the meringues getting mushy and sticky. Maybe the meringue didn&#039;t dry out enough before covering them? I left mine out for about an hour, then filled them, and then left them out another couple hours before covering lightly. I made such a large batch I even put them in the refrigerator overnight -- chocolate, raspberries and all. They were still crispy the next day.</description>
