I was lucky to have a whole persimmon day a while back. I had good luck with a persimmon bar recipe that I posted. If it makes you feel any better I dropped one a couple off of a cliff a few years ago while rock climbing (it was a goner) and then I dropped my current one in the snow last winter. I can't remember who, but there's a company that sells these great protective rubber cases for cameras and they work like a charm!!! Happy December! sorry to hear about your camera.
